Privacy Policy

creatrr is a planning tool for music-video and content shoots, operated by Gavin Geddes. We collect only what the app needs to work. We don't run ads, we don't track you across other apps or websites, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider, never in plain text). Only if you choose to sign in.
- Your projects: artists, songs, section times, shot lists, notes, links, dates and the photos you add as covers or references.
- Your audio: tracks you upload (converted to MP3), so you can play them on your shoot.
- Subscription status: whether you have an active plan. Purchases are handled by Apple, and we receive a confirmation and an anonymous purchase identifier. We never see your payment details.
If you don't sign in, your projects and audio stay on your device only and we don't receive them.
How we use it
To run the app, sync your projects between your devices, unlock the plan you subscribed to, send account emails (sign-up codes and password resets), and respond to your support requests. We don't use your content for advertising or to train AI models.
Who handles it
- Supabase hosts our database, file storage and sign-in. Your data is stored in their cloud infrastructure in the United States.
- Apple processes subscription payments.
- RevenueCat helps verify subscription status with Apple, using an anonymous identifier.
We share data with these providers only to operate the service, and we don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. When you delete your account in the app (tap your account button → Delete account), your synced projects, uploaded audio and account record are permanently removed. Backups may take up to 30 days to clear.
Your choices and rights
- View, edit, export or delete your projects any time in the app.
- Delete your account in the app, or email us and we'll do it for you.
- Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, and to object to certain processing. Email us and we'll help.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and stored with access rules so each account can only read its own data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Children
creatrr isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we make a meaningful change to this policy, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app.
